The Cottage stands in the courtyard of La Masserie, situated in a hamlet, Rouvre. Having views over the Plateau de Sainte Maure, the over two hundred years old barn conversion is newly renovated and fully equipped, with underfloor heating. It also has a private garden with terrace.
BEDROOMS:
On the first floor, a large bedroom with super-king bed. Views over the countryside. Ground floor bedroom with either super-king or twin beds. ¾ futon on gallery landing, folding beds and travel cot on request. Ample drawer and wardrobe space.
ENTERTAINMENT:
Wi-fi throughout the house. Wall mounted colour TV with both English and French channels. Radio and CD player. For those who wish our courtyard is suitable for boules!
SITTING ROOM:
The sitting, dining and kitchen area is open plan and comfortably furnished. There are books, jigsaws and board games available. There is under-floor heating throughout the ground floor with radiators on the first floor. High chair on request.
BASIC FACILITIES:
Washer/dryer, iron and board, vacuum cleaner. All cleaning products, including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing liquid and conditioner are provided.
BATHROOMS:
Bathroom on the first floor, bath with hand shower attachment, lavatory and washbasin with cupboards under. Shower room on ground floor with shower, lavatory, washbasin with cupboards under, washer/dryer.
GARDEN & GROUNDS:
There is a private garden for the ‘cottage’ with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. The garden looks out over the ‘park’ with its trees and shrubs, and sheep grazing. There is courtyard parking for two cars or one camper van.
